This is an unused Martin SPA-31 shear pin adapter. This is for use with SPH-31 shear pin hub. This was removed from a very large sprocket. Despite being removed from a sprocket it was never used or mounted onto machinery.
Check out the last picture for how it was mounted into a sprocket.
