New Crosman Custom Shop STEEL BREECH w/ GRUB SCREW
for .177 OR .22 caliber models 2240 2250 2260 2300 2400
Air Guns (pellet pistols, carbines).
NOTE: NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR REAR COCKING 13XX PISTOLS WITHOUT CHANGING BARREL AS WELL, ETC.
This listing is for a Crosman Custom Shop Steel Breech with barrel grub screw ONLY.
It DOES NOT include the notched hammer that most of the newer (since 2018) 2240's already have.
What's the difference? Its breech screw is further back so that it is no longer in the path of the loading pellet.
The pictures do show the Custom shop Breech with the breech screw location as listed.
Even the new 2240's are coming with the notched hammers that are required for this breech screw location... and their tubes are now double drilled for use of either breech screw location.
You will need to check to make certain that your tube has this extra breech screw tapped hole.  If it does not, then this breech WILL NOT work with that tube (unless you tap a new hole for it).
This upgrade replaces all of the plastic breech parts with metal.
This steel breech kit also has dovetail rail for adding a scope, laser or red dot sight to your air gun.
The plastic rear sight will no longer fit, but you will now have a dovetail slot for an LPA MIM sight (very popular).
You can also check my other listings for the Custom Shop tubes that are laser etched and have no roll stamping, etc.  they are smooth and stronger.  The high pressure air guys love them for that.
These Crosman parts are freshly new (not old stock).
They have not been modified in any way.
These parts are completely ready for you to install into your Crosman CO2 pellet pistol or carbine.
This set will NOT work on the pumper guns (1322, etc.) only because of the notched hammer not being available for those guns.
