Antique Victorian Capelet Childs Baby Wool Cape Sweater Hat Civil War 19th C Vtg

I will be listing several items over the next few weeks that were found stored in old trunks in an attic of a victorian house in Racine Wi.  Most items date from the civil war era to early 1900's.
Items include children's clothing, doll clothes and bedding, women's clothing, dresses and undergarments.
Hard to find these types of things in good condition that have been stored away for well over 100 years.
I have not cleaned these items.... they are being sold as I found them in the trunks.

Listing is for a heavy woven wool children's / toddler size caplet and hat.
I believe this to be from the 1860's - 1880's. A great example of a childs capelet!
Capelet is a heavy tight weave with a ribboning around the neckline.
Fabric itself is in very good condition for it's age.  It does show storage dirt of some type..... and some rough edging along the backside.
Neck opening is 5" when closed or 10" across.  Cape is 10" long
The hat is also wool.  It has some edging issues along the back .... rest of it is good.
