Antique 1900s Edwardian Child’s Pink Silk Jacket

This is an exquisitely handmade jacket for a child from the late Victorian/early Edwardian era - probably between 1900 and 1910. It is made of silk with lace net appliqués. It has a number of gorgeous details. The round buttons are covered with matching braid and each of the buttonholes are hand-done. The neck and sleeve cuffs are lined with the softest pink marabou down - a luxury stork feather used for its easy of dying. You can see the care that went into the piece - I love how, to save fabric, the seamstress hid the selvedge under the sleeves
The jacket is in absolutely flawless condition. I would recommend this as a collector’s piece. To preserve its beautiful condition.
I have no idea what constitutes kid’s sizing so I’m guessing it’s for around a 6 year old but I could be way off XD
